Taiwan’s Nan Ya Plastics to restart No 2 BPA line this week

Taiwan’s largest bisphenol-A (BPA) producer, Nan Ya Plastics, plans to restart its Mailiao-based 100,000 tonne/year No 2 BPA line this week. The line had been shut since 20 March. Attempts to restart the line last week had failed due to technical difficulties. Nan Ya Plastics has a total of four BPA production lines with a combined nameplate capacity of 420,000 tonnes/year. The other three lines at the same petrochemical complex were currently running at full capacity.

颜先生： 试译大意(抛砖引玉) 本周,台湾最大的双酚A生产商-南亚塑胶,计划重启其位于麦寮的10万吨/年双酚A的2号线。 该生产线从3月20日关闭至今。上周末试图重启,但由于技术上的困难重启未果。 南亚塑胶共有4条双酚A生产线，旗下结合产能42万吨/年。 而其他3条双酚A生产线，目前正满负荷生产。
