China’s SSMC delays BPA plant restart to mid-August

Shanghai Sinopec Mitsui Chemicals (SSMC) has postponed the restart of its 120,000 tonne/year BPA plant in China to mid-August. The plant, which was shut on 25 May, was initially scheduled to restart on 27 June but technical difficulties had pushed back the restart date to late July.
