Two Washington state legislators have presented a proposal to ban the use of BPA in products made for children aged three and below. The proposal would apply to products like baby bottles and infant formula. Meanwhile, a number of major retailers, including Wal-Mart and Toys R Us, have consented to voluntarily halt the sale of certain BPA-containing products.
