Russia's January-July polyethylene (PE) production was up by 35% year on year at 804,500 tonnes, the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry said in a statement released on Tuesday. The country's overall output of polypropylene (PP) was up 39% at 329,400 tonnes, according to the statement. Russia's total polyvinyl chloride (PVC) production amounted to 310,800 tonnes, down about 8% year on year, while polystyrene output reached 146,400 tonnes, down some 5%.
