SEOUL, March 18 (Yonhap) -- SKC Co., a South Korean maker of chemicals, said Thursday it will spent 44.5 billion won (US$39.2 million) to add production lines to expand output of a material used in solar-cells. SKC plans to start mass production of ethylene vinyl-polymer acetate at the three new production lines at its plant in Jincheon, a city some 90 kilometers south of Seoul, from the first half of next year, the company said in a statement.
