South Korea’s LG Chem shut down its 200,000 tonne/year PVC plant in Daesan for a two-week scheduled maintenance.The plant was taken off line today and will restart by mid-April. LG Chem, which is among the largest PVC producers in the world, operates another 620,000 tonnes/year PVC plant in Yeosu.
