(ICIS news)--South Korea’s Polymirae plans to restart its two polypropylene (PP) lines in Yeosu within the day after they were shut down on Sunday due to propylene feedstock issues, a company source said on Monday. The lines have a combined capacity of 300,000 tonnes/year. Feedstock problems arose after its supplier - Yeochun Naphtha Cracking Center (YNCC) - has taken one of its three naphtha crackers off line late last week, the source said. No maintenance shutdown plan has been scheduled for Polymirae’s two other PP units in Yeosu at this time, he said. These two facilities also have a combined PP capacity of 300,000 tonnes/year.
