China-based Zhanjiang Dongxing Petroleum Co, a subsidiary of Sinopec, is expected to start up its new 140,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant within the month. Some market sources said the facility would be commissioned next week. The PP line would take feedstock propylene from the company’s 100,000 tonne/year gas fractionation unit, the source said.
