Japan’s Nippon Shokubai plans to restart its 70,000 tonne/year crude acrylic acid plant in Singapore on Thursday after a month-long scheduled maintenance shutdown. The restart of the plant, which was shut in late July, was not likely to bring immediate relief to the supply tightness currently seen across most of the Asian region. The company was running on low inventories and had orders to fulfil. The firm also runs a 60,000 tonne/year crude acrylic acid plant in Indonesia. The plant was restarted in mid-July after a shutdown for maintenance. 日本Nippon Shokubai计划于明日重启其新加坡年产7万的丙烯酸装置。
