Taiwan’s FPC to shut Ningbo acrylic units for maintenance

Taiwan’s Formosa Plastic Corp (FPC) plans to shut its 260,000 tonne/year acrylic acid plant in Ningbo, east China, for a 16-day scheduled maintenance in September. The plant was scheduled to shut from September 20 to October 5. FPC will also be shutting its two acrylic acid plants in Taiwan, with a combined capacity of 150,000tonnes/year, in September and October.
