Asia SBR producers said on Wednesday offers for September material would be raised by $200/tonne (€138/tonne) due to sharp rise in costs of feedstock butadiene (BD). “We will increase our September offers for the non-oil grade 1502 SBR by $200/tonne to $1,800/tonne, and may revise this offer upwards again depending on the feedstock BD price,” a Korean SBR producer said. Non-oil grade 1502 SBR prices are currently around $1,600/tonne CFR (cost and freight) but several SBR producers in Asia have withheld offers this week because of unabated spikes in BD prices. BD surged by $400/tonne from early July to around $1,300/tonne CFR northeast (NE) Asia. “We have no offers this week as we are not sure how much higher the feedstock BD price will go up in the coming weeks,” a Southeast Asian SBR producer said. 9月,SBR出价将上涨$200至$1800,如果BD价格继续上涨,SBR价格还将继续上提。
