China’s Baling Petrochemical shuts BR plant for maintenance

Sinopec subsidiary Baling Petrochemical Corp shut its 40,000 tonne/year BR plant at Yueyang on 28 October for a month-long regular maintenance period. Traders said that domestic BR prices surged to RMB15,000/tonne on 29 October.
