陈燕： Taiwan’s China Petrochemical Development Corporation (CPDC) is running its 160,000 tonne/year acetic acid plant at Da Sheh, Kaohsiung, at 70% of capacity after restarting it on 22 September.The plant was shut in mid-September due to mechanical issues. "We are not offering any cargoes currently as we have low inventories," the official said in Mandarin. Offers for acetic acid spot cargoes from China fell $30/tonne (€20/tonne) from last month to $420/tonne FOB (free on board) China due to ample supply and weak demand, according to market players. However, no transactions could be confirmed at the above levels.
