Ukraine’s SSME Azot’s acetic acid and VAM units in Severodonetsk would be shut down until January 2010 because of high production costs and lacking of opportunity to export volumes. PS:The unit has a nameplate capacity of 150,000 tonne/year of acetic acid and 30,000 tonne/year of VAM.
