Shandong Luxi Chemical plans six new plants over five years

China’s major fertilizer producer Shandong Luxi Chemical Co plans to invest yuan (CNY) 4.85bn ($710m) to build six chemical plants over the next three to five years. These six include a 200,000 tonne/year organic silicon factory, a 120,000 tonne/year dichloromethane/trichloromethane unit, a 160,000 tonne/year melamine plant, a 200,000 tonne/year methylamine unit, a 200,000 tonne/year dimethylformamide (DMF) facility and a 300,000 tonne/year urea line.
