China’s Sichuan Chemical Works Ltd restarted its 12,000 tonne/year melamine unit at Sichuan, southwest China, in mid July after a 60-day turnaround. The company operates five melamine units at the same site with a combined capacity of 90,000 tonnes/year. The melamine plant was currently running at 90% of its nameplate capacity, the official added.
