China’s Sichuan Chemical Works Ltd is running its 12,000 tonne/year melamine unit at 90-100% after restarting it two weeks ago .The plant, which is located at Sichuan, southwest China, was shut in early September due to a shortage of upstream natural gas.It is operating at almost full load as the inventory levels are low. The company operates five melamine units at the same site, with a combined capacity of 90,000 tonnes/year.
