Cytec raises N America melamine prices by 10 cents for Q1

US producer Cytec Industries posted a first-quarter price increase of 10 cents/lb ($220/tonne, €145/tonne) for melamine products in North America, effective on 1 January owing to a tight global supply and strong demand balance . The 10 cent/lb increase represented a 14% hike from the fourth quarter. It would increase the price of melamine to $1,775-2061/tonne.
