AMI Agrolinz Melamine International has temporarily shut down its plant at Piesteritz, Germany, in order to balance out the market as global demand remained weak. They have shut down Piesteritz production completely since 15 February and will restart at the 1st of April in full capacity. AMI also confirmed that it would shut down its Austrian plant in Linz from mid-April until the end of May, or after the Piesteritz plant was up and running again. That would be for maintenance reasons only.
