(ICIS news)--Cristal Global, the second largest producer of titanium dioxide (TiO2) in the world, has announced a second price hike in two months for its products sold in Asia, market sources said on Wednesday. TiO2 prices in the Asia-Pacific region would increase by $150/tonne (€105/tonne) effective 1 September, in addition to previously announced price increases, market sources said. The company, owned by Saudi Arabia's National Titanium Dioxide Co Ltd, last announced in late-June a $100/tonne hike, effective 1 July. Cristal is the fourth producer to announce such a price initiative after Tronos, Kronox and Huntsman. Cristal Global宣布了2个月以来的第二次提价。亚太地区的钛白粉价格又上升了¥150/吨,9月1号生效。
