Maoming Petrochemical to shut No 2 cracker for maintenance

Maoming Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Chinese petrochemical giant Sinopec, plans to shut down its 640,000 tonne/year No 2 naphtha cracker from 24 December for scheduled maintenance.It will last around 42 days.The shutdown will have an impact mainly in south China market. The ethylene supply will be tight.
