Oriental Petrochemical (Taiwan) plans to shut one of its two PTA lines at Taoyuan in June for a two-week maintenance. The company produces a total of 900,000 tonnes/year of PTA at its two lines of almost equal capacities at Taoyuan in northern Taiwan.
