小敏： South Korean SK Energy's aromatics output could be trimmed by 5% from October when its No. 2 steam cracker at Ulsan will be shut for maintenance, due to reduced feedstock, a company source said Monday. SK Energy plans to shut its No. 2 steam cracker, which can produce 660,000 mt/year of ethylene and 360,000 mt/year of propylene, on October 1 for 32 days of maintenance. SK Energy's reformers receive an unknown amount of pyrolysis gasoline feedstock from its crackers, and the source estimated that its aromatics output could see a 5% cut from October 1. The cut has, however, not yet been confirmed as SK Energy may elect to buy the pygas shortfall from the spot market, the source said.
