Styrindo Mono to restart No 2 styrene at end of week

Styrindo Mono Indonesia (SMI), the country’s sole producer of SM, plans to re-start its 250,000 tonne/year No 2 plant at the end of the week. The unit, located at Merak, was shut in the third week of August for repairs to its catalyst column. The company also operates a 100,000 tonne/year No 1 SM unit at the same site. SMI将于本周末重启其年产25万的2号装置。
