Samsung Total to shut Daesan SM units in H1 2010

South Korea’s Samsung Total Petrochemicals plans to shut down both its styrene monomer (SM) units at Daesan in the first half of 2010 for a turnaround. Catalysts at the two units will be changed during the month-long turnaround. P.S:(The No 1 unit has a capacity of 250,000 tonnes/year, while the No 2 unit can produce 650,000 tonnes/year of SM.)

陈燕： 韩国三星道达尔计划明年上半年停车检修其大山的2台苯乙烯装置。检修时间为一个月左右，期间将更换两台机器的催化剂。 注：1号装置年产25万，2号装置年产65万。
