China’s Ningbo PO/SM project to start up in Q2 2010

The world’s largest PO/SM project at Ningbo, Zhejiang province in China, is expected to start up in the second quarter of 2010. The project, a joint venture between Sinopec subsidiary, Zhenhai Refining and Chemical Co (ZRCC) and LyondellBasell, will produce 285,000 tonnes/year of PO and 620,000 tonnes/year of SM.
