China's Yantai Wanhua to build new TDI, MDI plants

Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes Co plans to build a 600,000 tonne/year MDI plant and a 300,000 tonne/year TDI unit at Bajiao Lingang Industry Park in China's eastern Shandong province.The company's existing 200,000 tonne/year MDI plant in Yantai's urban area would cease operations once the plant in the industrial park starts up.
Yantai Wanhua has plans to build 11 plants at the Bajiao industrial park, including the MDI and TDI plants.
Detailed timeline for construction of the plants was not yet available.
