Yanshan Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Chinese energy major Sinopec, has restarted its 160,000 tonne/year phenol-acetone unit on 24 August, a source close to the company said on Wednesday. The unit, located at Yanshan area in northern China, was taken off line on 3 August for scheduled maintenance, the source said.
