Japan’s Mitsui Chemicals plans to shut its plant at Jurong Island in Singapore for a 20-day turnaround in the first half of June 2010.The plant has a nameplate capacity of 300,000 tonnes/year of phenol and 180,000 tonnes/year of acetone.
