Taiwan’s Formosa restarts No 1 cracker

Taiwan’s Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPC) restarted its 700,000 tonne/year No 1 cracker in Mailiao on Thursday after a maintenance turnaround that began on 1 September. The producer was gradually ramping up production at the plant but has yet to decide if it would run the unit at 100%.It should be decided by the market and they will make the decision next week. Formosa is currently operating its 1.03 m tonne/year No 2 cracker and 1.2 m tonne/year No 3 cracker in Mailiao at 90%.

陈燕： 台湾FPC星期四重启了其麦寮年产70万的1号装置，该装置于9月1号停车检修。 生产商将慢慢的提升产量，但是还未确定是否会全负荷运转，要依市场而定。有关部门将于下星期做出决定。 Formosa位于麦寮的2号（年产103万）和3号（年产120万）装置的目前开工率为90%。
