Maoming Petchem to shut No 2 BD line on cracker maintenance

Maoming Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Chinese petrochemical giant Sinopec, plans to shut down its 100,000 tonne/year butadiene (BD) No 2 plant late this month, in line with the planned maintenance of its upstream cracker.The No 2 plant would be off line for more than 40 days from 26 December. 茂名石化计划于月底停车检修其年产10万的2号丁二烯装置，预计12月26日停车，停车40天以上。
