Pingmei Shenma to start PVC and caustic soda units in H2'09

China-based Pingmei Shenma Energy Chemical Group Co plans to start up its 300,000 tonne/year PVC unit and 300,000 tonne/year caustic soda facility in the second half of this year. The two units are still under construction. The caustic soda unit will come on stream first, in June.
